Angela T. Nakamura Ochoa

Angela T. Nakamura Ochoa specializes in professional litigation and director and officer litigation. Ms. Ochoa has tried family and civil cases in Clark County, Nevada and appeared before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Ochoa also represents her clients in administrative matters before the Equal Employment Commission, Nevada Equal Rights Commission and before the Nevada Department of Education in Due Process Hearings.

Ms. Ochoa’s litigation experience includes defending professionals such as attorneys, real estate agents, insurance producers, mortgage brokers and dentists.   She has represented board of directors of insurance and tech companies.  In 2021, she paved the way for clarification of officer and director liability under NRS 78.138. 

Ms. Ochoa is admitted to practice in Nevada and Hawaii (voluntarily inactive).

Community Involvement
Ms. Ochoa enjoys providing pro bono services:

• Mentoring first year attorneys in the Transitioning into Practice Program.
• Arbitrating and mediating cases through the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Program.
• Serving as an attorney in the Children’s Attorney Program.
